Children’s theatre

Theatre is for everyone and in Altopascio is just like that. With the children’s theatre, the theatrical art comes into the classrooms and into every kid’s house and life and it develops and takes shape through the educators, the theater operators, the associations and the theatrical companies’ hard, constant and passionate work, with projects that throughout the years involve the children of Altopascio. This is a path which connects children from different ages, cultures and social environments and makes them know each other by discussing the most current and pressing topics, such as legality, bullying, violence, diversity and disability. Workshops take place at schools and into the spaces of the municipal theatre, where, at the end of this path, plays are staged. In addition to that, thanks to the collaboration with “Toscana Spettacolo” Foundation, the municipal administration offers to students and children shows and plays for free, inviting famous actors and theatrical companies from all over Italy.
