The event takes place during a weekend in May

Associations and sport clubs meet up in Altopascio for a two-days party which brings many sports downtown, and you can try all of them.
The centre of Altopascio, the park near the castle walls, the historical squares and the main street turn themselves into gyms, football, volleyball, beach soccer and footgolf fields, basketball and baskin courts, table tennis and foosball table rooms, rings, stages for dance classes and spaces for skaters. Everyone can try different sports right into the town and have fun for two days experiencing various activities. Exhibitions, demonstrations and shows of the participating associations enrich every moment of the weekend and entertain people with high quality events.
Sports party is the occasion to reward athletes, societies, sport clubs which stood out during the years: the municipality of Altopascio delivers itself the prize and with cups, medals and certificates gives a public acknowledgment to the sportsmen of this area, many of which are true national and international talents.
During the Sports party you can also find good food thanks to the traditional street food which will welcome and surprise you with traditional italian food from all over Italy.
During Saturday evening and Saturday night you can find shops, restaurants and bars open until late at night and have fun listening to music during dj sets downtown.
